Overview
There is a Green shift in how we live and do business in California, with the state enacting comprehensive new legislation that requires businesses and individuals to manage Medical Waste in an eco-friendly manner. Sharps Solutions, a longstanding advocate for a healthy environment through our Green Works Environmental Services organization, have expanded our hazardous waste management and disposal program to include Regulated Medical Waste (Biohazard).
We have partnered at permitted medical waste treatment facilities in Central California and our new facility coming on-line in Southern California to actively develop new treatment, disposal, and recycling technologies to reduce the environmental impact of biohazards and sharps waste in California with a view towards Zero Waste.
We employ autoclave technology for the treatment and ultimate destruction of pathogenic mirco-organisms from all medical waste streams, rendering them noninfectious prior to final disposal. |
